  • Spending the summer in Rome

Rome has made its name as a superb city with ancient culture, tasty food and numerous attractions and it’s the type of city many people dream of visiting, especially when it is thriving in the summer months.

The famous Colosseum or the Circus Maximus will certainly be worth a visit but there is so much more. It’s the hidden gems in Rome that make it so special, such as the pizzeria tucked away in the cobble street alley, the friendly people and the beautiful warm weather.

You can enjoy pizza or pasta dishes in the sun,  with terrific views over the city and then perhaps take a day trip to visit Pompeii. Nightlife is also a really nice aspect of a Roman holiday but if you’re not looking for a night out on the town, more relaxing entertainment can be found in traditional bars and restaurants.

  • Taking a Trip t New Zealand

New Zealand really is a remarkable country, not just for its scenery but also for its many famous attractions. Queenstown is one of the most popular destinations and that’s because it’s the tourism capital. It’s near the snowy mountain ranges where many people stay, usually at the Coronet Peak, the Cardona or Treble Cone resorts.

Lake Tekapo is in the Southern area of New Zealand and there have been many films over the years that have used the beautiful scenery of the lake to make the visuals more appealing. From the lake you can see the mountain ranges but it’s a really secluded location and there is probably no better place to relax, meaning it a great stop off after a hectic tourist stay in Lake Tekapo.

New Zealand is an odd country; one day you can spend one day relaxing in the sun and another day on the top of a snowy mountain cliff. Not many countries are as diverse as New Zealand, while the country also benefits from not being overpopulated, so you’re in for a real experience if you’re used to living in a busy, overcrowded city.

  • A Shark Cage Diving Experience

For years the world has experienced a concerted effort by much of the global media to aggravate our fears of sharks. We see this most clearly with films like Jaws, which have done a lot to damage the image of what sharks, and great white sharks particularly, are actually like. We saw in the movie how the shark just shredded apart the shark cage, but this is actually a very unlikely, nigh impossible situation. The reality is that many people try to experience shark cage diving, with relatively little risk involved. Unlike diving with sharks in the open, cage diving allows you to see sharks during a feeding frenzy. By placing blood and food for the sharks within the water, while you are of course within the cage, so that you can see them interact in a way which would otherwise be too dangerous. While their image as mindless man-eating monsters is a gross exageration, the reality is that they are still top predators.

So, when you are going for a scuba diving holiday experience, check out your alternative options, like shark cage diving, if you want to have an exhilarating experience.

  • A Holiday in the Virgin Islands

The Virgin Isles is the western part of the Leeward island chain, which exists off the coast of North America. The Virgin Islands includes the British Tortola, Virgin Gordan, Jost Van Dyke, and Anegada, and the American St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico.

The Virgin islands enjoy great weather all year round, and make some of the nicest holiday destinations in the world. Due to their proximity to the USA, they make up the majority of its visitors, but we also see a number of British people there as well. It is not unusual to see holiday homes owned by Britains, available for letting. The experience you can have there will make a great holiday, as an ideal place to relax, and enjoy all of the luxuries on offer there. The truly incredible, and otherwise unseen aspect of the British Virgin Isles is that there are a lot of largely uninhabited beaches there, so that you can have an exclusive experience there.
